So, I was going to put this in the finishes section, but that's DIY, so if this is wrong, it can be moved, Gregg.

So, what are your favorite finishes, guys? You can include the preferred wood, too.
I love cherry sunburst finishes that have been aged to perfection on lightly flamed maple  :toothy12:

I like these;

I'm totally blown away that these haven't sold yet!!!

Tony, you and I have very different tastes... I love vintage bursts and stuff like that, and finishes that really show off wood grain. Here's a couple examples... (excluding just clear finishes, which i love). Most of my favorites are natural.

I really love the Fire Burst and the Bengal Burst finishes over quilted maple.  I've never seen either one of them any where else but here.  Truly beautiful craftsmenship

On the contrary, I'm primarily a Quilt Maple or Flame Koa lover, but there's just something about these chameleon finishes that intrigues me.

My TFS6 (non Warmoth) is AAA Quilted Maple with Translucent Red.

Alpine white guitars really get me off.
thats probably my favorite solid finish.

Joe Satriani's "Chrome Boy" is a pretty cool guitar, except it would always be smudged with fingerprints.

antigua finishes are awesome! i dont much care for the warmoth version, but the old fenders are awesome.

i really like those "other worldly" looking green flamed maple guitars.
i will post a pic if i find what i am talking about on google.

PRS's Grey Black with a natural binding is just stunning IMO.

The PRS looks nice, but I think W can do better black dyes  :icon_biggrin:

I like the braveheart finish, and if I can get enough money, I may order a SG with a natural back and crushed steel front.

I personally wouldn't own one (nor could afford one), but I've always dug the Tyler Burning Water finish.

?
personally, i think that guitar is hideous.
to each his own i guess.

Thanks, Tonar. I'm going blind now.

And Wilyee, You should hint towards a natural back, steel top sg routed for p90's and see if anyone here snatches it :D And that guitar you posted looks like relic-by-fire. But it's not hideous!

Orph....

that's not fair man,  thats just showing off........
