Earvana now offering drop-in nuts for angled & straight pegheads

I'm not sure there's one compatible with angled strat necks if it's in the 25.5 scale. The one I grabbed from them direct is for Gibson-scale angled necks.

It's from a company called "True Temperament" (http://www.truetemperament.com/site/index.php). Kinda bizarre, eh? I can't imagine playing such a thing, but there it is.

If you can't imagine playing it, you should try one out so you don't have to imagine it.  I played a neck like that once.  It didn't feel any different than a regular neck, and it was a nice guitar all around. 

I can't imagine playing a Dusk Tiger.

I asked about several of their nuts, and the scale length is not so much of an issue according to them.  Considering that there is around a 1.5 mm difference between the standard nut and the Earvana compensation, that difference over 24.75 to 27 inches doesn't work out to be that much.  At least that is what their reply implied.  I got one for my Les Paul and it worked dandy.  A friend cracked off the corner, so I am waiting for another.  This leads my complaint with the system is that the edges are still sharp, and for no reason.  They can catch on things when they could be a little less sharp, hah the pun.  Anyways, The other problem is that it is for a 12" radius neck so a little fin-agle-ing has to be done if you want it to look perfect.

It definitely looks freaky though.
