Top routed means the probable use of a pickguard. A 720 mod plus pickguard equals ripping the fingerboard from the neck when you tighten up the screws since the gap needed under the fingerboard ledge for the pickguard is eliminated by the deeper neck pocket.

You could try to custom order a top routed 720 mod and use a dremel or something on the neckroute on your pickguard to make room for the extended fretboard to fit in.
Just a suggestion. I dunno if it will work, but if it does, I think warmoth should offer those kinds of pickguard routes for the fretboard to fit in.
