NOT LOOKING FOR ANY TRADES AT THIS TIME
Looking for Les Paul sounds in the simplicity, comfort and beautiy of a stratocaster build? This is where you journey ends!
Body and neck purchased pre-finished from Warmoth, chambered mahogany body, 5A maple quilt top, natural mask binding, TonePros vintage tuners, Callaham bridge and saddles, CTS Superpots from RS Guitarworks, Switchcraft jack and toggle, ebony fingerboard with MOP dots, Duncan '59 humbuckers with brushed nickel covers.
This guitar was assembled and fine-tune by James Reilly from Tidewater Custom Shop. He spent hours alone filing and rolling the neck to make sure the playability was second to none, and his wiring is a work of art as well. James will be more than happy to give you input on the build as well, you can contact me for his contact information.
Neck is a '59 roundback carve...very comfortable in the hands, 10-16" radius, 1-11/16" nut, white Tusq nut, scale is 24.75. Weight of the guitar is in the 7-7.5 pound range.
It is near-mint condition, with just some very faint pick swirls...no dings, dent, scratches, bucklerash. I've never played it with a strap on, always in a seated position.
The guitar bears my family name "Campbell" and the guitar model is "Highlander" (my family originated from the Highlands of Scotland).
It is an exsquisite instrument that rivals any American Custom shop guitar that I have ever owned or played (and that's a whole bunch over the last 35+ years).
Financial needs are forcing the sale, no issues with the instrument whatsoever.
I have over $1,800 in this build, and looking for:
$1,450 Shipped and Paypaled CON US
