I might be making a change to my order if it's not too late. I originally went with a VIP with the Gotoh 510, and I chose the compound radius on the neck. Since learning that the radii on the bridge and neck wont exactly match, I'm considering going with the straight 12". I'd love some advice on this situation. Thanks.

Having asked simlar questions myself recently, I'm about to place the same order.

If I go with the Gotoh 510, I'll still order the 10-16 fret board and just file and adjust the saddles on the bridge to give me the 18" radius required for optimum set up.

This is exactly the way to go if you HAVE to have a bridge with a fixed radius, but I would still advise against it.

I'd rather not have one with a fixed radius, but I DO want one that feels similar to and is as comfortable as a TOM  or 510 for resting and palm muting....

Any suggestions for similar feel / comfort bridges with independently adjustable saddles?

Although my Soloist has a compound radius, I have 3 guitars with a straight 12" radius, and I find it to be quite comfortable.
