Brand new Warmoth body: The Dinkycaster!!

It’s basically all the Strat options with new locations for knobs and switch. Rear route offers alternate positions as well. Perhaps new styles will come in the future. When I drew up the PG, I originally tried to use the mustang plate to make it look more like a bass. 👍😎
I have been thinking that since I saw it! Like man this thing needs a metal control plate

I was looking through Wild Wood guitars website last night, and saw a line that uses this body style. They use a Jazzmaster tremelo on most of their models instead, but definitely shows some examples of a finish guitar with this body style.

Castedosa Carlos Lopez style? Interesting..

I'm definitely tempted to get one of these bodies, cut a custom pickguard and metal control plate for it, and get a DC Kunkle 30.25" conversion neck to make a really sick Jazz VI

I think Warhead is perfect…. But standard or reverse?
Reverse for sure. They have the hole in a slightly off spot for the low E string. You can see this in pictures. The string is slightly angled between the nut and the tuning peg. If you reverse it then it will be the high E string. This will put less sideways force on the nut.

Thank you for posting the comparison pics with the strat. I don't have the dough right now to buy one, but it will be my next build. It'll look great! I love this shape.

I'm anxious to see your first builds of these! Please post pictures. Can't wait to see what you all do with the Dinkycaster!

I’ve been eyeing that Seafoam green. Here’s the Dinkycaster idea I have stirring around in my head. Very Boogie body IMO and tipping the cap to the Cuomocaster. I think the seafoam green compliments the tortoise pickguard. Black hardware, J-bass Knobs. Poor image on the photoshop edit. Probably do a Roasted flame maple neck though.

Which 6 screw bridge are you thinking?

That’s the 6-hole vintage trem I used in the picture. Basically, planning around the body available. Not sure if that’s the bridge I would go with.
