That guitar is so metal...

fixed that for you

I really wanted one of these, but apparently no one sells them in the US, and I ain't paying the super exaggerated exchange rate to get one from the UK..

That's a nice-looking part. Do you know what the centerlines are on the pivots?

2.2" same as American standard strat.. really I just want the roller saddles, they look like they will fit on the Wilky i have..

You can get these...

...for $15/set from here.

They work on a Wilkie. I've used them. But, with that bridge design, there's essentially no movement of the strings on the saddles. I wouldn't worry about it. It's more important to have a good nut and locking tuners.

I've got a set of those... :icon_thumright:

So a Wilky fits with no modifications when the bridge route was made for an Am Std?  I've wondered about that because Warmoth has different routes for the Wilky and the Am Std.  The Shedua strat I just finished oiling is routed for an Am Std, and I want a black Wilky.

To answer your question directly, yes, a Wilkie will drop right in. However, the cavity for the sustain block is routed slightly different. The forward wall is relieved a little more for a Wilkie to allow for the bigger sustain block. Fender's block is cast with a wedge missing on that face, so it doesn't need the relief.  Net result is if you put a Wilkie on a Fender, you don't have as much range to sharp the strings unless you open that cavity up a tad.

I wouldn't sweat it. If you choose to do it at all, it's an easy mod, and it's unseen once complete. Just don't go too far and chew into your mounting bushings.

In my case with the aluminum body, the material that would normally be there isn't so its no biggie, plus the block that came with mine is an odd shape. Its not just like a square block, kinda cheesy really...

I bought a squarer trem block for the scartozi bridge on my purple strat.
