Love it, im very temped to build my own short scale now.

I reckon there is a good chance the same guy made the Ebony knobs for my project. quite cheap too.

Thank you!  Brian in Kansas was the guy that made my knobs..Very nice guy and very fast.  :icon_thumright:

Update:  Last night and today I applied the conductive shielding paint to the cavities (4 coats total).. I used my heat gun in between coats to dry it fast. I'm pleased about how this body is turning out...Cant wait to see my neck tomorrow when it arrives  :guitaristgif:

Wow looks great. I love the combo of woods. That pic of your dog in a hoodie is also pretty cool. I would use it as future profile pic.  :laughing7:

Update:  I received my Gancalo/Gancalo neck today :hello2:
I'm really happy with the grain on it...Very smooth  :glasses9:

Update:  I put all the electronics & hardware on the body this weekend.  :toothy10:
Everything fit perfect, no issues at all.  This week I will work on the neck. I need to fill the extra holes on the back of the headstock that were drilled for the BML lights (the Hipshot ultra's don't cover them all the way) and do my reshaping of the headstock a bit.

I demand a pic of the neck on that body!!! No need to be bolt on, just to know how this bad-boy will look like :)

BTW, the wiring seems very clean, congrats!

super tidy wiring job. gonna be one sweet axe when its done.

Thank you! The Aguilar preamp came pre-wired to the pots, but I added the battery holder and shortened a few wires...tried to make it as neat as possible  :glasses9:

Update:  I took my neck over to a friends house to use his electric mouse sander to reshape the headstock today. That little thing worked great!  :icon_thumright:
After I got it down where I wanted it, I then hand sanded it with 220, 400, 600grit and then 0000 steel wool. I finished it off with some Howard's Feed 'N' Wax. I'm really happy on how it turned out. I ended up only taking a little off the top of the headstock along with rounding out the bottom horn. I LIKE IT!!  :toothy10:

I like the Warhead shape and I hope they will offer it on 34" scale necks.
I like yours even more which reminds me of Sadowski which I like more than Fenders...

The holes for the pots were routed by Warmoth or you?

I like the Warhead shape to but that's the only choice for the short scale basses..Wanted something a little different  :glasses10:
