Finishing putting this together today. At one point had to send the body back to Warmoth for a refinish. Originally satin, now gloss. Looks incredible!

Body: 7/8 size Black Korina chambered with a Black to Clear Burst, contoured heel.

Neck: Warmoth Mustang/Jag Strat Neck - high gloss hand applied tru oil finish. (30 coats)

Pickup: Fishman Fluence Classic with 3 voices. Push pull knob switches between Voice 1 and 2,(PAF and Overwound/Hot Rod PAF) and a small dpdt switch on back cover activates Voice 3 single coil. Didn't want to drill in that beautiful top so I installed a tiny on/on switch in the back.

This is one of about 35 Warmoths I've either put together or have sitting around in a pile of parts ready to build.Warmoth78-a.jpgWarmoth78-b.jpgWarmoth78-c.jpg

Also, for anyone interested on how I direct mounted this pickup, here's a pic. I screwed a humbucker baseplate to the bottom of the route and filed off a few millimeters from the top of the screw thread so I could leave the fishman mounting holes without drilling them out. Drilled a couple of small holes to accomodate the screws. Usually I order just a regular humbucker route and then you don't need that step.

That's sleek. But how did you pair the mustang neck with the 7/8 strat body? Did they custom rout the bridge and pickup for the 24" scale?
