That neck plate replacement is sharp! How did you make those parts, or are they something you were able to source as is?

I design it and build 3D files and CNC cut it, I have to think about making it to production and sell it, but it can cost up to U$60~80 for a set, I don't think anyone would buy at that price. even I made it in China, but besides CNC cost, the main cost is on hand polishing labor cost after CNC, as this kind of skillful worker is not Cheap in China too.  Another way made it cheaper it by casting, then I need to find out how many can sell vs molding cost + polishing or finishing etc.

It might be worth a shot. People will pay some outrageous prices for some things. Look what Floyd Rose bridges and some pickups go for.

this has finished using a rosewood neck first.

but test it on the amp , the rosewood neck OK for P90, but sound too dark for the mid and bridges single-coils pickups, especially with hollowed Mahogany body.

so I change the rosewood neck to that 2 F holes Black Korina strat body

Finally, I end up using a maple neck I buy from a  Screamin' Deals planned using on another Strat

That neck was thin clear stains , so I can add some slightly red vintage tint coating to it . to matching color .

UGH....you make me sick.  I wish my wires would look like that,

my design and engineering day jobs need a lot of detailed consideration on long-term maintenance that often needs to work in dark narrow space, so I always try to do the cables management that neat and orderly with easy to understanding labeled.

Are you certain it was too tight?

The neck is meant to be fitted from the top not slotted in from the front.

Here is how to do it

I do fit from the top, even after I modified it, it still cracked some paint on edge.

I have done some drying treatment after I received the body, as it may get some moisture on transportation. That usually will shrink the wood tiny bites, most noticeable place is that neck pocket is getting tighter.

Ok, it was not clear from the first photo how you were trying to fit it.

Probably best to just let it sit in the box to acclimatise to where you are.
