Howdy good folks of Warmoth forum.
I am back for another project and this time, I'm not going to use some cheap-o body I'll find on eBay and put a Warmoth on it, I'm going all Warmoth. I want to make myself a road ready, soon to be beaten up main guitar that will cover all my needs in my current project. No more tea cup and fancy shining gold, this time it'll be born for war.
Here's La Baronne, my first project: http://unofficialwarmoth.com/index.php?topic=21490.0
Now here's the new one body, as shown on Warmoth:
Specs:
Model: Chambered Telecaster®
Orientation: Right handed
F-Holes: 1
Scale: 25-1/2"
Wood: Swamp Ash on Swamp Ash
Rout: Top Rout
Pickup Rout: Humbucker (Neck), None (Middle), Tele® (Bridge)
Controls: None
Bridge: Tele® Bridge
Jack Rout: 7/8" (22mm) Side Jack Hole
Neck Pocket: Tele® Shape
Mounting Holes: Standard 4 Bolt
Countours: Contoured Heel / Tummy Cut / Forearm Contour
And the neck. La Baronne was a baritone scaled telecaster and I really, really went near from getting a second baritone. But then, I thought about the neck dive I would have with a baritone neck on a chambered body. Decided to go back to a regular scale, and I found this beauty sitting in the showcase:
Specs:
Style: Telecaster®
Construction: Vintage Modern
Orientation: Right Handed
Neck Wood: Birdseye Maple
Fingerboard Wood: Bocote
Nut Width: 1-11/16"
Back Shape: Standard thin
Fret Size: SS6150 (Stainless)
Tuner Ream: Gotoh/Grover (13/32" 11/32")
Radius: 10-16" Compound
Scale: 25-1/2"
Fret #: 22
Mounting Holes: Standard 4 Bolt
Pre-Cut Installed String Nut: Earvana GraphTech Black TUSQ XL
Inlays: Cream Face Dots
Side Dots: White Side Dots
Finish: No Finish
Hardware/pickups:
Tele Quarter Pounds (Bridge)
Lace Wyno's Lifers (Neck)
Chrome Wilkinson Tele Bridge w/ Compensated Saddles
Reverse chrome tele plate (vol/vol/3 way) with a coil tap on the neck's volume for coil splitting
Brown shell pickguard
Gotoh chrome tuners
Schaller strap locks
I think it covers pretty much everything. I'm waiting for my stuff to arrive so next post shall have pics. Cheers!
