Your building a gibster or a fenson. Love the specs.
still not sure what its gonna be when it grows up. lol it should be fun and interesting to find out. thinking about humbucker options now, should i go more modern like maybe Seymour Duncan JB and jazz rails or something more boutique and vintage sounding? just making it up as i go. lol

I love it and I bet you will too when it comes together!

I have long abandoned my JB and Jazz days after realizing most of my favorite HB tones from classic rock to modern metal are played with PAFs or PAF like pickups. The DiMarzio Fortitude is particularly interesting for a lower output yet modern voiced pickup.

Thanks for the info.

GOJIRA! 👍🏻

Yep. Here’s my Esquire with a Fortitude direct mounted in the bridge. Great pickup.

watched a ton of youtubes and a Dimarzio fortitude in bridge and 36 anniversary PAF neck is looking like a strong contender. I'm going black hardware so may leave the bridge uncovered black and the worn nickel covered in the neck position like my Adam Jones LP. I love that look but then again maybe both black covered or both black uncovered. so many options, thank you for the recommendation appears this combo may be exactly what the Dr ordered.
