Thanks, guys! Tonar, the tele looks great! I should contact the pick guardian if they would make a pickguard for Warmoth version of telemaster. I know they do for USACG telemaster, but it's a bit different that Warmoth's.

As for the pickups, I plan to try Fralin/Callaham broadcaster pups... most of the hardware and electronic parts will be from Callaham as well. For the control plate, Rutters plate with angled switch slit would be cool. I'll definitely reverse it so the switch goes to the rear. Not sure about...

Tonar Thanks for posting the pics! It is looking great. Hope it sounds as good as it looks. I might go with blackguard look with it.... not sure 100% at the moment. I'd love to hear some suggestions, though. This one will have an all-maple neck. I plan to put Rutters chopped bridge.

I second that! I've always wanted to build a replica of Fender Tele Deluxe from the 70s with Warmoth neck. But without the bullet truss rod, it's not gonna happen.

Thanks for the info, guys. I'm sending a drawing of a teleheadstock to Warmoth this week. Hope they approve it. As for the thickness, not sure Warmoth would do a thinner headstock. That would be nice! But USACG did one for me last year.

Hi Guys Does anyone know if Warmoth does a custom headstock on their "Total Vintage" neck construction? I did call them on last Friday but didn't get a clear answer. (the guy said he had to ask...) I want a "vintage-correct" tele headstock on a "Total Vintage" neck. Not sure what Warmoth...

Gents My nephew (6 years old) has been taking guitar lessons with an acoustic guitar. However he convinced me to get him an electric. Which one would you recommend for his age? I was thinking an used Korean made Squire Strat with 9s or 8s on. Something light and smaller nut width? Thanks...

Thanks for the helpful info. I'll definitely stay away from Hefner necks. I'm not sure if Warmoth would take an extra step to accommodate customer's request, but it wouldn't hurt to ask.
