    Classy (?) Shred Guitar!

Is that a comment on my awkward and incorrect phrasing or general disapproval with that bridge? I meant to say "strat flat mount bridge."    :)

    Neck selection guidance requested ...

Given your reported hand-size, I'd recommend the boatneck, although the '59 Roundback should also definitely be considered (really depends on how much you like that classic Gibson-sized kind of neck - I think that the neck on the SG you played is more similar to the roundback than the boatneck)...

How Diseased In the Head Am I?

I faked sick and ditched work because my third Warmoth guitar is coming today. Furthermore, while it's coming, I'm scouring the Warmoth showcase and website and planning my next one. I just do not think this is at all healthy behavior. At all. Ah screw it, work will survive without me for a...

Question Regarding Compatibility of Tru-Oil with ReRanch Aerosol Dye

Basically, I want to achieve a vintage tint look on my maple neck I just ordered. The specific question is whether I can use this product from reranch: http://reranchstore.stores.yahoo.net/fennecam.html straight to the maple and then cover that with Birchwood Casey Tru-oil and then cover that...

    Suggestions/Advice on this neck?

Cool thanks a lot guys. Just one more question: this neck would be compatible with a standard Fender Mexican strat, correct? I mean I don't know why it wouldn't, but I'm just making sure.

    Real Warmoth...?

Yeah, it plays awesome, but the thing is that I'm trying to sell it and had it advertised as Warmoth. Eh... sketchy situation... was anyone around ten years ago? Maybe things've changed.

    Real Warmoth...?

Here are the pictures. The guitar is about 10 years old, so maybe they didn't do the logos back then? I dunno...

    Real Warmoth...?

Hey there guys, I recently bought a Telecaster from a guy and he said it was a Warmoth. I looked on the Warmoth website and found that the color of it is very similar to a Warmoth color and that it has the headstock veneer just like Warmoth does. So it seems to be a Warmoth, however, when I...

    Newbie Needs Help

My budget is about $1200. And I like this Alder idea with the maple neck. There are, however, different kinds of maple. Are they distinctly different or are they ignorable differences? Thanks for all the help!

    Newbie Needs Help

Hello everyone, a couple weeks ago I started the design of my guitar. What I'm going for (tonewise) is a metal/shreddy tone. I really need help on the woods for both the neck and the body. I don't know much about different wood types or their affect on the tone, so I figured I'd ask here...
