meh I don't too much like brand-name pickups in general mostly because they're uber expensive. They probably do sound good, but so do things that are like 1/3 the price. I'll definitely take a look at roadhouse pickups though, thanks for the info.

I have a maple guitar neck that has a satin nitro finish on it and I'd like to stain it a darker color to match the body that I have. Is it possible to do this without ruining the finish or do I have to redo it after I stain it?
