    The Telecasket

I like the blood stain idea, but don't think I have the stomach to take a knife to myself.  Vintage tint will have to do.  My hope is that before I die the guitar will get some good wear on it and look like it is been played for a lifetime.  I like the idea of my descendants dragging around...

    The Telecasket

I like to imagine one of my grandkids playing it at a school recital. I wrote a message inside the cavity so if someone ever finds it and opens it up they will know what they have found.  I am sure there will be some great stories that will stem from that guitar after I am dead and I really...

I figured I wouldn't quite all fit.  I don't care what they do with the rest of me...

    The Telecasket

I am probably a little bit sick in the head, but it seemed better than being in a hole in the ground.  I figure it will have to be glued shut to keep me from leaking out. Dangerous, I put the plate you made me on another guitar because I was too impatient to wait for this one.

    The Telecasket

I talked about doing this a long time ago on this forum, but I finally put my money where my mouth is.  When I die I want to be cremated and have my ashes put into this guitar.  It is a tele thinline, but instead of the f-hole I had an opening on the back put in like it was a rear-routed...

    Pickguard on a musiclander body?

Is there a pickguard that will work on a Musiclander body?  The original fender version had a pickguard that looked like it came from a mustang.  Are all of the Warmoth musiclander bodies rear routed? Thanks as always.

    Is it just me....

Bread and butter pickles are great on a turkey and swiss cheese sandwich.  Mmmm.  I like to eat that when I am playing my Tele and talking to my gay friends.

    Is it just me....

For me the perfect Tele is a thinline, no F hole, with a strat neck and and strat pick up in the neck position.  If it doesn't have a tele bridge then it is not a tele, in my opinion.

    Is it just me....

Hey, I thought we were talking about pickles!  I love Bread and Butter pickles.  They are the best thing happen to pickles since the sliced pickle.

Telecasters are simply the coolest guitars produced.  You can play some 5 grand PRS, but it still won't be as cool as a Tele.

    Selling The Guitars You've Built

Check out e-bay, but expect to take a loss.  I actually do better if sell the parts individually.

How easy are Warmoth guitars to assemble ?

For me the key was patience.  I put my first one all together and it took a lot of iterative tweaking to get it right.  Eventually, though, you will have a guitar setup perfectly for you.  After building several I feel like I have developed some good skills. For me building it is part of the...
