White Charvel-Inspired Strat...it needed a Floyd

Here it is again, with a Floyd, which it needed. 

Quartersawn maple neck, swamp ash body.  EMG 85 bridge and 81 neck.  OFR.  Gotoh tuners.

This started as "spare parts-o-caster," but the hard tail bridge I had for it just sucked, IMHO.  I found a local guy who could Floyd it, and Floyd it he did.  It is just as if it came from the mail order like this.

I think it needed a Floyd.  It looks now like the Charvel that inspired its creation.

Re: Battery box rout.

Was that done by Warmoth , or did someone else do it? If you happened to have routed it yourself, could you tell us if it was difficult to do? I have to rout a double battery box in the same spot for a Jazzmaster body. I have the template, but I'm wondering how the inter connecting holes were drilled (from battery box to control cavity)?

OzziePete, I ordered it from W with the route, but I can't imagine it would be that difficult to do.

You'd have to play it to know, Doug.  Hell, this thing plays better than my Jackson USA SL2H.

you should splatter some blood red paint about it and let Blue313 borrow it ,
so as to let his closeted headbanging persona "come out",so to speak
then let him tune it to drop "C" . He could play it while wearing nothing but his "UNDIES"
and then we could band collectively around about him to declare that . . .

You are right, Dan.  At the next string change I'm going to blacken the route and put a foam pad in the base of the route.  I like the reversed combo.  Someone else posted about it on the Jackson forums a while back.  The bridge sound is a lot thicker and the 81 in the neck is just right.
