My first build recently completed and it is wonderful in my opinion in every aspect, my second project (using a warmoth tele neck) is barely getting started and I'm already thinking about a black korina clear wood bodied strat/EVH frankie shout out build.... I'm just realizing that I am in this for life and there is nothing i can do about it at this point........ and I'm kinda ok with that. :)

Haha, when i finish a guitar i'm kinda glad but also frustrated that it's over. I just love the research, the comparison, ordering parts from all over the world, assembling and deassembling, soldering, cutting nuts and so on...
If i would have invested the time in practicing, well... :)

Actually, I have the same problem. I'm still waiting for parts on my current project, and I've already started dreaming about the next one! Looking at a mooncaster with bigsby! And thanks to spud, thinking about filtertrons of some sort. It's fun though, and in terms of hobbies it's actually beneficial to your wellbeing.

Since I spend the bulk of my time recording, and the remainder of it playing on the church worship team, I look at them as the right tool for the job. I’m not a collector for vanity sake, but I do appreciate observing a fine build.

Nobody has just one Phillips head screwdriver after all.

A black Korina Franky would be cool. But in case you didn’t know, sometimes Warmoth can also do white Korina. Just gotta email em or call em to check availability. Hope that helps!

I was thinking I might make it out of 2026 without a build, but then I went to Fender’s design your custom guitar site and put together a Strat with bubble gum finish, a black pickguard, and white pickups and knobs. Might have to make one from Warmoth parts. Just got to find the perfect color spray paint…
