what dyes to use??

I wantto create a finish like this...

Useing ReRanch..would you recommend medium brown or tobacco brown for main color.  Also what dye to use 1st (an sand back)  Dark Walnut??  It sucks that they do nnot have colors up on the site but I have been looking all day and I cannot find anything...Think WARMOTH knows??

It's questionable that you'll need 2 dye colors. I'm thinking a tobacco brown would get you there.

1.) Black - then sand back
2.) It's impossible to tell without seeing a color sample, and half the time the representation on a web page may be off to some degree. Get 1 ea. of the Amber, Tobacco and Medium Brown. Get a piece of sample maple and experiment, you may need to do a mixture of the dyes to get the color "just right".

Thanks.  I am thinking I will need a darker color to get those dark marks...I will also be using it on the mahogany body as well.

It's hard to say for sure, but I've gotten dark lines using only one color. You can use black or a deeper brown to make sure, but that gives you a different sort of dye job.
