She came yesterday!!! She is beautiful, but I don't think the pickguard goes very well with her. Any suggestions?

I would agree, the pickguard does not go.  Too bad it was a top route...that wood is PURDY!
I would say plain black...A vintage pearl may look cool too.

Here it is with the black pearl pickguard :doh:

I think a white pearl would look good, but I wanna try the brown shell. The pearl pattern kind of clashes with the wavy quilt maple top. I think a brown shell would complement better since it has wavy lines too, the brown shell on the warmoth website(http://www.warmoth.com/Pickguard/StratPickguard.aspx) I've got black dimarzios for it and black knobs. Ii think black and brown would look good with the rosewood and ebony neck.

Hmmm not loving the black - tough with that beautiful multi-colored top. Brown might work.

Hmmmm, I don't hate the black pearl scratch plate but yeah, another color might work better. Tough call because it's not bad, just not perfect for that color of body. Not to mention it's going to look worlds different once you get all the parts on there too. That scratch plate may look a lot better once you have the pups installed and have a bridge sitting back there.

You might be right about it being too dark with a brown pickguard. It is going to have gold hardware
