hi there !

my guitar was recently setup, and now it won't stay in tune as well as it did before. not saying it was absolutely perfect before, but...
so i've read alot about directions on how to do this. i've seen the fender instructions on how to setup a strat, and it seemed to work okay...
but anyhow, my trem is a "6 Hole Vintage Tremolo" as sold by warmoth from Gotoh. can anybody help me out on this one ?  :)

Are you trying to float it, or is it adjusted down to the body so it has a postive stop?

I float mine slightly. Here is how I do it.

First just set up the trem. I use 3 springs. Center to center, Each outside from trem block to a claw next to center.
I place a credit card under the trem base plate spacing it from the guitar body.

String up.

tune up

now adjust the claw screws so that the credit card falls aways

now with a feeler guage and measure the gaps between coils of the outer springs

Slightly adjust them so the gaps are equal

you are good to go
