Vintage tint with Oil based Stain?

I will be receiving my new Swamp Ash body soon, and am planning to stain it yellow/amber-ish similar to Warmoth's vintage tint.
I have used both Woodburst and Minwax under a True-oil finish but can't find exactly the color I want from either.
Can anybody recommend any other stains that will work with True-oil?

oh forgot to add:
this is really what I want to accomplish (minus the shiny poly finish)
I don't want it to be lighter, because it would look like a korean lite-ash much darker would not have the same vintage vibe..

I think 'Honey Oak' from Woodburst is close but too yellow

Not a stain, but if you look at the Flame Maple/Alder hollow chambered Strat  I did in the gallery at this link:

What I did there was use oil stain on the alder back and shot the flame maple top with Reranch Fender Neck Amber to match the neck. The Fender Neck Amber product has tint but no laquer, and you can deepen the tint by spraying additional light coats. I finished that axe with nitro, but you should be able to use Tru-Oil instead as the top finish.

If that is the direction you want to go color-wise, you might try that product, it takes a little practice to get the hang of "touch-spraying" thinly to get an even color, but you should be able to get the practice and a whole body done with a single aerosol can, even a couple shades darker than the example you posted while I was composing this....

Its a Minwax stain (Ipswich Pine) on a Swamp Ash body, and finished with about 10 coats of polymerized tung oil. I was a little surprised but the tung oil came out much glossier than I anticipated. Because it was laready quite glossy, I went ahead and used a fine polishing compound on it and it came out with a pretty  high gloss finish.
Edit: That pic is a pretty faithful reproduction of the actual colour, although it may be just a bit less yellow and more brownish.

I love that Strat! and that color.. I will consider this, but haven't had very good experiences with spraying. thanks for your help!

that actually comes pretty close! the Ipswich pine looks so much different than on the minwax color charts!
