Brilliant. I can't write 4 lines of poetry myself.
One of my favorites:
Refrigerator
This is a lousy haiku

That would be a mighty expensive fire.  You could just send the LPs my way...

Although I own two Gibson Les Pauls... a Standard and a BFG, they never really do it for me like the  ES-333's or SG's.  In fact, my name over at the LPF is spanish for "expensive firewood".....

I know you like your LPs Hannaugh.  A little story..... My Standard was an escapee from the factory!  The only reverse pole black/zebra pickups they had for the original LP Standard faded were Tak Matsumoto Signature pickups (BB-Tak #1 and BB-Tak #2).  They used the original three for the photo sessions and that was supposed to be that.  What happened was... the first 200 or so that got built, got built with Tak Matsumoto pickups, as nobody in the assembly knew there were reverse coil BB-Pro's.  By reverse, I mean the colors are reversed from those traditionally used as zebra coils.  Gibson caught  on pretty quick, and  rebuilt someplace around 90 to 100 guitars before they got shipped.  However... another 90 to 100 got shipped out the door with the wrong pickups. An acquaintance of mine worked as production supervisor at Gibson Nashville, and I told him about my new LP... he asked the serial # (from which it could be dated).  After that he told me the story and asked that I pull the pickups.  I did - BB-Tak on the little sticker on the back of the pickup.  BB-Tak pickups are Burstbucker  #1 and #2 which are wax potted.  Thats all.  Just an interesting weird run in production.  He also told me, after I refinished the top in gloss, that Hank send one in to have that done - and it was also BB-Tak equipped.  So as it turns out Hank and CB each have gloss top fadeds with BB-Taks.  Woop-de-flippin-doo.

Just so you know, I stole this and posted it on another guitar board that I frequent. Full credit to the OP here though.

1.  Hank?  The Hank.  There's only one, as in Williams, Jr.

2.  Make sure that Six String gets his credit too, he was co-author, maybe 20-25 percent of it.  And which site... I wanna see the fallout!~
