One day I looked through the Warmoth Showcase this mahogany body appeared:
And having this IMO minor finish flaw it was very cheap:
So I hit the "Buy now"-button and paired it up with this rosewood/macassar ebony 28,5" scale baritone neck I had bought previously:
I also had a set of Suhr DSV+ bridge and Suhr DSV neck pickups along with some Seymour Duncan Triple Shot pickup rings.
Inspired by Buckethead I also wanted a kill switch. I have later soldered a 22 Kohm resistor parallel on the switch to get rid of some of the popping noise it makes.
So yesterday was rather cloudy and fine time to get some pictures taken out on the lawn:
The Triple Shots where you can get coil split etc. does not have the best impact on these particular pickups IMO. So I always use them in hum bucking mode. I just too lazy to desolder the system as I don't think I'll ever use it again on another guitar.
The front strap button I have placed right on the neck plate. It gives a surprisingly good balance on this Diplodocus-looking instrument.
And Planet Waves auto trim tunes works fine with baritone strings as well:
I have had it tuned to C using standard 012's for an extended period and the guitar sounds really good that way. But I decided to try out D´Addarios EXL158 (013 - 062) and tune to B. One have to play around with the toys after all.
