Strat neck on a Tele body

I know it can work (https://warmoth.com/guitar-neck-fit), but curious if there are any potential issues to be aware of since it's not an exact fit. Thanks in advance for the collective wisdom!

None at all. I’ve done it probably 15 times of the last few years. As a matter of fact, my two current ones both have strat necks

Outside of the gap in the neck pocket corners and the pickguard, no issues.

MIM Fenders use the extra same neck pocket for Teles and Strats and just about everything else. The extra rounded rear corners are because they use a much larger CNC bit in the Mexican factory so they don't have to replace them as much.
