im building a strat. i am maybe contemplating a  reverse headstock but dont really know. help me out by voting!

more details please...front or rear rout? trad trem, Rose-type or hardtail bridge, what color, what style of music do you play...you get the idea :icon_thumright:

I don't care for reverses most of the time, especially on Strats. Some people like them but I don't see it

I'm not gonna be much help, because i love BOTH the standard AND the reversed headstock configuration. It just looks great either way.

do whatever you want.. it is so personal.
at one point I really wanted a reversed strat head, but for some reason now really dislike it..

I do kinda like it on pointy headstocks, but had one once, and didn't really think it was 'user friendly' ;)

Reverse headstocks look ridiculously stupid on Strats. :tard:

+1. i think the strat headstock was really designed based off of the curves of the body. and a reverse headstock just throws the thing all out of whack. looks really strange i think

Go with a V headstock and tell all these guys to feck of

It is a personal choice, do what you want, after all if you did what everyone else wanted all the time you would be listening to Britney Spears

Never been a fan of reverse headstocks. Tuners are on the wrong side.
Who says they're on the wrong side? Tuners on the bottom are more ergonomic than on the top...What's right and wrong, up and down is only a matter of conditioning, this is what you've been told over and over by the man that you are persuaded this to be true...Only people without blinders on can see outside the box.... :icon_biggrin:

The most important thing on a non-tilt headstock is that the tuners are in a straight line from the nut, not which side they're on...Gibson Firebird or Ernie Ball guitars anyone?

3 good rules to live by:
Never reversed headstock.
Never gold hardware.
Never Mary Kay finish.
