Strat build half way done

She's coming along. Just need to wait for some parts to come in the mail...

My favorite part is that the ebony fingerboard has grain figure to it. I don't like the jet black kind. :icon_smile: Something cool I did was I dyed the edge of the pickguard. It was WHITE and I rubbed some brown wood stain on it and it darkened it up a little to like a light brown or aged look. Goes better with the overall look of the guitar. I might try and dye the WHITE numbers and letters on the knobs the same way for the same reason. Sorry I didn't do a step by step, but I'm just winging this thing and am no expert so I probably would not be of any help. See ya'll.

I must say I love this body and pickguard combo.  The pickguard really helps pickup the natural binding.  There is A LOT going on and a lot to see.

Here are my 2 cents...take it or leave it.  Concerning hardware...pick a color...you have both black and white PUs, blcak control knobs, white toggle.... :icon_scratch:

What color hardware are you using?  By the jackplate I would think (hope) gold.  If gold...some gold (or what ever color hardware) dome knobs would look killer.

This is not your traditional strat...why limit yourself to traditional mixmatched pieces...

Just my two cents but the build is looking killer!
