I am not sure that would work on the pine.

Thank you, sadly ol Spud can only afford maple!

Maple with. Rosewood board isn’t much different. Just get the fretboard to align with the darker color. Not suggesting exotic.

I’m looking on it on my phone, seems the sears are a touch lighter than Rosewood, maybe Pao Ferro? For fretboard only. Not the shaft wood.
