There is a "narrow-body" superswitch you can get, I have one installed in my (angled switch) 7/8 tele and it just barely fit with no mods

Wellllll this doesn’t quite fit right. I think I can dremel out a little room near the jack hole to slot this in sideways, but I might just go with a straight switch.

It just moves the problem to the other side sadly.

In the meantime, some weird strings I ordered

Tone Shapers sells the narrow Super Switch. I have used them successfully in standard Tele control cavities.

Oak-Grigsby Lever Switch, 5-Way (4-Pole Superswitch)

Provides the most flexibility of any 5-way switch on the market. Narrow design fits Telecasters as well as Stratocasters.

Make sure you have a plan of attack before you bring in the soldering iron, it is close quarters and can get tricky real fast.
