"Tulip" is a great name and nothing will look as good as a white pickguard.

I like the white pickguard. To me, anything else would be too busy and would detract from the artwork. I suppose you could try tortoise, but I doubt that idea will fly with anyone. Frankly, I'm not convinced myself...

I think that the idea of softening up the color of the pick guard with some more yellow in it would be nice.  Could also be the pictures.  Dark back ground, dark guitar, white pick guard.  Might just make the image scream white a bit much.  Maybe Max can play with the color on the whiz bang computer.  I am still jealous, that thing is great looking.

Yep - not really a fan of Mayflower. 

BTW - third coat of clear acrylic is on.  The plan is to do a couple of coats of wipe on poly after this for durability.

It's much brighter than my 360/12
Plays better than my 360/12
Looks freaking incredible!
I already wrote a song on it.

Still tweaking the truss rod - there is a lot of pull from those 12 strings.  But the action is nice and low and it plays very well.  The low G string is popping out of it's slot, which is a bit annoying though.  Not sure what I'll do about that yet as I don't want to put one of those clunky string trees on it.
