Replacing a Precision neck with a Jazz

Are there any issues to be aware of? It's not actually a real Precision, it's an early 80s Kramer Focus. A previous owner turned it fretless, and proceeded to grind the strings into the board. I don't think it can be salvaged... it's definitely P-Bass size. I have another that's fine and dandy, so I want to go with the smaller Jazz neck width for variety. There's no Strat/Tele pocket difference, correct?

It's very common for P bass players to trade necks. Happens all the time on TalkBass.

The only difference between a P and J neck is the nut width and neck profile. With Warmoth necks, the only difference is nut width.

Oh yeah,  I already knew that. Just wanted to be sure there was no difference in the P and J necks themselves. I happened to spot a Focus neck on eBay last night, so I'll keep an eye on that as well - I'll snag it if it goes for cheap.
