precision body and neck...with jazz pups?

Hello,

I'm putting together an order for a Warmoth Standard Precision body (rear-routed) and Precision bass neck, but instead of the Precision pickup, I want to use a pair of Jazz pickups.

Will there be any problems with string alignment with the pickups?

In case anyone cares why I'm doing this, I prefer the Precision body and I love the beefiness of the Precision neck.

I don't think there will be issues. the bridges are the same size, and the necks only vary at the nut.

Nope, no issues at all. Warmoth will even make you a precision pickguard with a jazz pickup rout to match.

Plan out your controls.  You might want to put in a side jack.

I have a Pearl Red P pickguard with a J pickup cut in it in my workbench as we speak.

Nope, no issues at all.

No TECHNICAL issues. The moral issue of being potentially responsible for a handful of apoplexies should still be considered.
