Post What Jazz You're Listening To

Indeed.  Many of our aging masters are nearing their final departure anyway, but under these circumstances it seems so... unnecessary, and unfair.

Especially since it's a nightmarish way to go. Not being able to breathe is literally terrifying like nothing else, and it's not fast. Nurses and lifeguards will tell you it's pretty scary for them, too. You will fight with every bit of your strength, and to hell with anything or anybody around you. Nobody should have to die that way.

I saw him and his son when I was kid.  I thought it was normal to have a jazz great in the neighborhood.

I don't know if Acid Jazz counts, but it's the closest thing I listen to regularly.

Well it is a type of jazz... so it counts.

It won't be everyone's cup of tea but neither is coffee.

Since as long as I can remember I have problems with the sound of vacuum cleaners. It makes me very ill at ease.
This comes very close to that feeling.

Huehuehue! Personally I feel like I'm in a middle of violent storm when I listen to this, very cathartic.

Today in jazz, it's bass players playing piano.
