Haha that's awesome! Always loved that album.

By the way, what string gauges are you using?  :icon_tongue:

Thanks, me too!  :toothy12:

Actually I've been using Daddarios EXL 010s like forever, but recently I realized I've had too low action to really let the "strings breath", I've choked the tone, basically.
So I have raised the action just a notch, not too much, but it made a difference in playability.

So now I have Daddario EXL 009s on the guitar, so it balances the difference nicely.

I always had 010s on all guitars but will from now on have a variety of different guages on my guitars now for different purposes and feel.

I have two guitars in Eb tuning; one that feels like butter using 010s, and one that I think would feel better if having 0095s , the exact middle between 009 and 010s.

That IS awesome.  SIT is my fav Maiden album of all time thanks to its production and engineering.  I love the space created by the tasteful use of reverb.  I believe this record uses reverb on the master, which is something I do, as well (as inspired by this album).

For those interested in getting these lead tones live, the discontinued Mesa Silhouette does these to perfection. I had a Deuce Stage II and it just nailed the tones on this album. It's the only amp I've owned twice lol.

Anyway, great playing.  Enjoying your vids.

Very nice playing.  Love that album too!

what is it with guitar players that have really long slender fingers....like you!  Steve Vai and Paul gilbert are two more examples.

I struggle with my short stubby fingers.  That my story and I am sticking to it!! :laughing3:
