Well, my sis sent me her old digicam after she bought a new one, & I got to do some snapping around yesterday.

This is a hi-res shot of Mt. Rainier, just a block away from our Apt, at Bradley Lake Park, which we walk around several times, several times a week, to work off my table muscle, which I don't have hi-res shots of.

Here's one from the east edge of town on Main street between Puyallup and Sumner, just a bit down the road from USA Custom Guitarworks.

& one from the pickup, on the way home from work today from Kent.

Here's several shots of Bradley Lake Park, with a cameo or 2 from me & Squirrel Girl.

The commute home, not sure why I took these, probably so I won't forget the way.

This is a cool store in Sumner, that has some tone wood, but mostly smaller pieces.  They get some offcuts of some shops nearby.  They've got great books, tools, & other swag to drool over.

This is a cool pet store in Sumner if you dig fish as my son does.  He manages the fish room at a store in Ceres, Ca, & I'm gonna send him this pic to entice a visit.

This is a cool place too, you might know of them

Wait, lemme put my glasses on,

That's about it for now, I'll post some more of the studio once I clean it up a bit.  I still have boxes of cd's sitting in the room that don't make it look too presentable.

I don't what else to say, it's absolutely beautiful & inspiring up here.  It was a warm 83 degrees outside pretty much this whole last week.  The air is fresh, there's plenty of activities to satisfy just about every interest, absolutely no way to get bored.  Fishing, biking, hiking, hunting, lot's of venues, etc.... I could go on, just come visit.

Thanks for looking.

Do you mean the bass in my avatar?  That's actually a Yamaha.  It was one of the prototypes of the John Myung signature and has an NE-1 eq and MIDI pickup built in.  They modified it for my bass teacher when he was a Yamaha endorser and put his signature on a ramp.  I bought it from him a few years ago.

One of my good friends' brother is a Yamaha endorsee, John Pattitucci.

Is it that same guy who can play 6 billion notes a second when he's drunk and has to slow down in live performances so people don't die?

His guitar is custom made by Ibanez, Mr. Ibanez, the pickup is hand wound by Tony Blair, his painting is done by Michaelangelo, not the guitar noob, the guy who like painted Jesus on some ceiling, and everything is bolted to this piece of ancient Chinese oak, and the frets are made of his homegrown tree...

Nice hair by the way... we don't see too many men with long hair these days, its almost as if its a sin or something....

yeah and his rack was hand wired by thomas edison and nickoli tesla,  the circuit boards are made from the ten commandments, and his strap is made from the finest griffin pelt.  he bought the griffin on the black market and killed it with a brown note solo.

yeah, i saw this series, and it funny as hell. the voice over is the best part.

i died twice, but lucky for me after the first time the paramedics decided to stay close by, just in case.

John Pattitucci is a Jazz bass player, he's played with Chick Corea, Chad Wackerman, Dennis Chambers, & many others.  He doesn't drink, party or any of that.  He's just a great player.  His brother Tom, was the Worship Pastor at my old church in Pleasant Hill, Ca, and is a great jazz guitar player in his own right.

Check out some Pattitucci Material here:

I got long hair, but it takes forever to grow them... I mean I wish they just grow to knee length overnight...
