Well some pickups I have that I do not see listed are:

Tim White
OX4
Zhangbucker
JM Rolph

Added!
(Although I couldn't find a link to Tim White Pickups. I did see some mentions about his pickups no longer being available though. Please correct me if I'm wrong.)
That is correct. You can only find them now used on Reverb and eBay. Last time I checked, a pair sold for $600. And yes, they are that good. Not saying $600 good, but they really are that good. The OX4 are close.

I have:
Fender Vintage Noiseless (1st gen) in my Strat
Fender Squier 60s Vibe in my Jazz bass (stock pups)
EMG 81x/85x in my VIP

Probably should add Gretsch for the Gretsch owners who haven't replace or gotten from the factory with TV Jones.

Good idea. I've now added Gretsch as well as Rautia, a finnish manufacturer I had forgotten.

I don't have a set of these yet, but building a guitar around a set of Telenator WRHBs has long been on my list. And probably there will remain for a time...

Very interesting.  I'm surprised to find Dimarzio so popular.  Hmmm...  Dimarzio was on my short list, I went with the Nordstrands instead.  Lemme think about this for a bit.

Well, to be honest, Dimarzio and Seymour Duncan has to be two of the biggest pickup brands out there.
But I know what you mean.

Another thing - this "infogram" will be much more interesting in, let's say, a year from now. If people continue to add to it, I mean. Then we would really see more representative results. Could be fun!

Awesome project on these lists. many thanks. I watched an episode of the Doug and Pat show on youtube today and one maker they demo'd was Wizz Pickups and I have to say those were mighty good sounding PAFs. Had never heard of them but Doug and Pat have been trotting out humbuckers in demo's that were news to me. I have not tried Wolfetone yet but have spoken to the man himself and would like to try something of his. I have to chime in on Bill Lawrence, would love to try them also. Presently very happy with Kleins in a couple of my guitars.  :headbang4:

Hate to play necromancer on an older thread but I just wanted to toss my hat in.

Lindy Fralin P90s (Standard) - I use a standard set of his P90s in my ES-339. No matter what else I try or grabs my attention for a few hours/weeks, I keep coming back. I think these are my favorite overall pickups and are absolutely worth every penny. Can't recommend Lindy and his character+quality enough.

Shoreline Pickups USS NJ http://shorelineie.com/- Val is a local maker near me in NJ. He makes incredible pickups. I have his USS NJ vintage PAF style set and they are beautiful. They are lightly potted and absolutely thrive in clean or over drive tones. They respond to volume control and picking dynamics incredibly.

Thanks for the tip about the Shoreline's. I'll add those shortly together with some other brands that are not yet on the list.
You did tick the ones you've got in the list, didn't you?

Sure did!

Just got a set of P90's from Sanford Magnetics in Eastern Canada after hearing them on the Doug and Pat Show. Waiting for a set of Tone Specific tele pickups that appears to come from San Diego.

I added seven new pickup brands in the list and poll thingy. Thanks to everyone that contributed to these tips.

How about some blasts from the past?

SuperRock
PJ Marx
Mighty-Mite
Dan Armstrong
Kent Armstrong

That list is getting quite complete. It's fun to see I have the most, and almost least, popular ones. :icon_thumright:

no option for Alembic? (too uncommon I suspect)
I have 2 Warmoth strats with Alembic systems in them.
