don't forget to cover that trem cavity!

I was debating leaving it off, but I do plan to put a pearloid one on it.  Good idea. :icon_thumright:  It's funny my girlfriend told me the same thing.  I better put it on then.

Most excellent!  I love the back of that neck!!  OMG!!  I hope you're as pleased with the P-Rail as I am with the two I put in my new build.  They really sound fabulous.
The Series humbucker setting on the P-Rail gives me a darker, more spine-rattling growl, while the Parallel setting has a brighter, more cutting tone.  Both single coils are distinctive and clear.

Yes, for sure the hot P-rail bridge pickup is excellent.  I couldn't imagine a more perfect pickup for this guitar.  I have been searching, and searching for the right one, and this is the one.  It is hard enough to chop out a grinding rhythm in series, and it can just change it's personallity with the flip of a switch.  It's always articulate no matter what mode it is in.  Better than advertised. :rock-on:  And FYI for anyone who's trem claw will not fit to Warmoth's holes properly:  If you don't want to redrill, Allparts has a trem claw with a perfect fit for a couple of bucks.

Updated Pics, for some reason this guitar loves Ernie Ball Regular Slinkies, the strings that I have used the most in the past.

I love erverthing about this. Great choice of wood, great colors and excellent wiring.  :icon_thumright:

Thanks guys, it really means a lot to me. :)  I just took her into my repair shop to have the frets dressed, and to check my set up because I know they can do it better than me.  Needless to say it attracted attention.  The worst part of this guitar is me having to explain how it works. :icon_tongue:  They were asking me if it had a serial number while looking over it, then he said "Phoenix Down, that works" and wrote that in as the serial number.   I feel like I left a child behind today. :sad1:

Love it!

The switch to engage different capacitors for the tone pot is genious. :-)

There was another little feature hidden in that switch.  it is placed within proximity to the tone knob, so if you didn't want that extra cap you roll the tone up and the top of your fingernail clicks the switch back to the normal middle setting.  The switch is no longer in range of your fingernail to get hit again, it's kinda like the default setting in case you quickly want to go back without taking time to reach for it, which it's right there anyway.  I don't usually go nuts on the tone control, and it is easy enough to turn the tone pot without clicking the switch.  The down setting is good to get that little extra tone drop without messing with the knob.  The switch does come in handy.  Thanks your your interest in this crazy guitar.
