I don't think that's possible, as a direct usage.  The tele plate is longer, and possibly narrower?  And I think it's also not possible to get the correct control configuration.  However.  A custom plate is very do-able.  It's very hard to get a chrome/shiny finish without having an actual image to insert, so i just sampled the color, and it's just gray.  But, you get the idea.
