and there is no end in sight... I think after the binding is scraped I might be ready to fit the neck and adjust the angle. then set the last of the frets and it's off to finish... then I set the neck and she is almost done

Looking unbelievable. Tell me the name brand of the masking tape you use...so I can buy shares in the company.  :kewlpics:

tthhhhhhhrrrrrrrrrrrreeeeeeeeeeee  eeeeeemm. remember to roll the h and r's when you say it.

Kinda makes you wonder how anybody ever sells an acoustic. For the work that goes into them, you'd think nobody would ever be able to let go of one. Be like selling a kid or something <grin>

definitely  a learning experience, you can have her for a buck twenty!

You say that now, but once you give birth, you'll love it.

so the binding was a big pain.. the glue did not stick and the tape did. ie the binding needed lots of re-gluing, and the tape tore the back up. Well plenty of time and sand paper later and I'm ready to set the neck angle..

Those pics of the damage from the tape were heartbreaking! I'm glad to see you were able to sand it out. This thing is really looking beautiful! :hello2:
