I have this coming.    I hope it looks as good of the photos.    I have never been disappointed with Agile yet.

Multi-Radius - 12" at the nut and 16" at the 22nd fret for vastly superior comfort
Coil tapping on both pickups for a wider range of sounds
Graph Tech NVS2 bridge with string saver saddles
3/4" solid maple cap improves overall sound quality (increases brightness of the guitar)
Two type V Alnico humbucker pickups.
5 piece neck-through (maple/walnut) neck and dual action adjustable truss rod
Ebony fretboard
Individually hand filed frets

That's a mighty fine looking one. It'll probably look better than the pics when you get it. Contrats.

Outstanding looking instrument. I have an Epiphone SST Custom made in South Korea, it stays in tune, plays beautifully, and the craftsmanship is impeccable. And for the price, you couldn't pay for the finish on the Gibson version! Post pics when it arrives, I want to drool over them....  :headbang:

Nice guitar!

I'm slightly concerned that it might have one of those "photo" tops on there... Please report back with your findings!

I haven't played a bad Agile, most have been made and setup quite nicely.
I have on occasion played a used one that was poorly cared for, but that's user error.

It should be illegal for LP's to be equipped with coil taps. Like...they should come to your house and arrest you.  :laughing7:

But that neck joint!!!  :headbang:

Definitely post pics when it arrives. Also the weight! I have considered getting one of those a few times, but the specter of receiving a 12 lbs guitar scares me off.

I know people who love them.  The only problem is they are not expensive, which causes dissonance when playing something that's good.

If I ever decide to stick one of THOSE in my stable, it'll probably be an Agile. I'm a die hard Fender guy, and don't shop that high on the hog in the first place. But man... people on Craigslist seem to think they're Agile retailers or something. It's a freaking used guitar, you're not gonna recoup your cost + shipping on a used guitar.

Yo that guitar looks way nicer than the price tag I found for it should indicate. Dope score, my nugget

Had some experience with an LP type Agile.  It was north of the 2000 series. Do t remember the model as this was 10+ years ago. Had P90s and an ebony board.

Was a good player. Gifted it to my ex’s daughter who wanted an electric. Could not find a fault in it for the money spent.

THIS is what should be illegal: I'll begrudge you your 9-string if you really want it bad enough, as long as you keep it safely in your bedroom where I'm sure they all are. But putting a Kahleresque monstrosity on it?

Hehe! Gotta be a bit stiff, too. Must use valve springs from a Chevy small block for counterbalancers :laughing7:

At what point does the increase in the number of strings no longer make it a guitar.

For me once you get above 9 courses it becomes a different animal.  Or if the courses are more than double like some of South American instruments. Though I’d be clueless with a 7 string

+1. Twelve string guitars are just six courses of doubled strings. Same chord fingering, just need stronger fingers. Have a friend, an excellent classical guitarist, keeps trying to get me to try a 7 string. He loves 'em. I can't understand why....
