Here we go again! Another amazing year of Guitar of the Month contests starts here! It's time to get your entries in!

March's contest will be "Warmoth/professionally finished" and requires at least a Warmoth neck or body to qualify.

Please read the GOM rules, which have been refined, with some slight changes, and are posted in a sticky in this forum area.

Submissions must be sent, to uwfgom@gmail.com, and contain two images no greater than 1024x768, along with your description and details of the instrument.  Send your submission in plain text email.  Your photos must be attachments to the email.  Your unOfficialWarmoth Forum user name must be included in the body of the email.

In turn, your images will posted to this message, which is March's submission thread.

Submissions will be accepted from now until March 9th, so get your cameras clicking!

As usual, discussion about the submissions can take place below.

Please do not post additional photos in any replies to this thread.  Links to other UW threads or external sites are fine. Links will not be included in the entry descriptions.

Please try to stick to the entry requirements:
1024x768 pixel images maximum as attachments please, not embedded in the email or linked to external sites.

Include your UnOfficialWarmoth Forum user name.

Warmoth or other professionally finished instruments only this month.

Sorry, but entries that do not meet these requirements may not be included in the contest. If you're having technical difficulties, get in touch!  (But only about contest entries please!)

Good luck, and may the best guitar/bass win!

Oh, man! It's been a long while since the last self-finish month, which I just barely missed. Next month though, I'm all ready.  :turtle:

Let's see those epic W finishes this month, they sure do some pretty ones!

Here's something you don't see every day - 2 entries, almost, from Jamie John! Best of luck!

Keep 'em coming.

Wow! The coolest part is they both can win.

That's the first one I've seen, GOM contest or otherwise, in 8 years. Nice piece. And a Floyd, too!

Bet that's no fun to wear for very long. Gotta weigh a million pounds  :laughing7:

At least you can rest your chin on it when you're playing sitting down. Looks like fun to tune as well! Admire the commitment though - and the classic, simple colour scheme. Looks solidly put together too.

ThePhilosopher is entrant #4. Best of luck!

Heading for the deadline, folks. Expecting more than 4 entries after the break...

Entry is open for 7 days from the initial post, so this month that's until March 9th at about 10:19AM Pacific time.

Depending on how strict GOM is feeling, entries may not be accepted if you don't follow the entry requirements like including your forum name and/or submitting oversized images!

Lots of directions to be pulled in with this lot! Any one of them could be my favorite depending on the criteria. Fine specimens all!

Sneaking in under the wire to complete this month's lineup, please welcome EpicPow and JoeA!
