Talk me out of this non-warmoth purchase

The lower models are done that way, but the 3100s and up are solid tops, not laminates.

It'll get here wednesday.  :eek:ccasion14:

LOL! Not to worry. You won't be sorry. In fact, you're going to be very pleasantly surprised. After you get it and get familiar with it, go play a Gibson Les Paul Custom. Then ask what they want for it. Then laugh your ass off.

Absolutely. I have an LP Traditional, and it's a lovely guitar, but it costs twice as much as a Strat, which is ridiculous. I like it but I know I was kinda ripped off. Still, it came out of a £100,000 legal settlement (long story) so it didn't matter too much at the time!

LOL... C'mon, it was all over but the shouting by the time you hit the New Topic button!
:icon_biggrin:

Hehe! Getting a little anxious, are we?

At the place I lived for 10 years before this place, the UPS guy didn't show up until usually between 4:30pm and 6:00pm. This place is 1 mile away (as the crow flies), and he's rarely later than 11am. Must have a girlfriend in between <grin>

They're always "out for delivery" at 6am. Always. Their excuse is "there are other deliveries before you on that route!"

Horse pucky. I know better. They have satellite-based anxiety sensors. The more you want something, the bigger kick they get out of making you wait for it. You don't dare start anything even as simple and fast as frying eggs for fear the doorbell will ring and you won't get to it fast enough.

Grab a six pack and a bag of chips and watch a House, NCIS, or Lawn Order marathon. They're on almost daily. Or, work on your internet porn collection. That stuff won't download itself.

It's here. The first thing I noticed is it has block inlays and I ordered the one with traps. Other than that it's gorgeous. Pics to come.

They responded to my query about the block inlays immediately and offered a full refund but I declined. Nice of them to offer though.

After playing this for around 5 minutes I just HAVE to remark on this superwide neck. I have big hands and this thing feels like HOME. It's also lighter than I had expected.

awesome! I've had my eye on those Agile's for a while now, how are the stock pickups? Also, what is the fretwork like?

Fretwork has no issues that I have noticed as of yet. Guitar played fine right out of the box, even better when I changed the strings. I'll take it in next weekend and have a bone nut put on and a setup done.

Stock pickups - well, I can't really talk about them yet. I have only played this through my little champion 600 5w tube amp I have at home. It'll be Thursday's band practice before I get to plug this thing into my Egnater head/Marshall cab and open the volume up and put it through its paces.
