Theres one tiny little pit on the grain of the quilt, you can barely see it, even in this picture. but nobody will notice it anyway.

It was a steal. 270 off the showcase.

The sneaky post guy was really unlucky. Just as my wife and I opened the door to leave he was sticking the "hey i missed you sorry" flyer in the mailbox, he was gonna ditch and not give me my warmoth box.

Anyway. we caught him and I got my box from him (lazy bum) .  Still waiting on the body but here's the neck.

SS 6105
Maple/Maple
Graphite nut 1 11/16"
Fender Scale.

One interesting thing... This is my first non angled headstock warmoth neck.  And I didn't realize that when you get a warmoth pro neck (that is what this one is right?) with the side adjust truss rod that they totally omit the trus rod adjuster at the headstock.
its so weird...  so What do our poor lefty's do when they order a warmoth pro neck?   This worries me because My next build is going to have a reverse CBS headstock.

Oh... and for this being the cheapest neck you can buy from Warmoth woodwise.  I"m not at all disappointed with its looks or quality.  This is a superb neck..  I can't wait for the body.

Hey dig it - another maple neck!  :icon_thumright:

We don't order pro necks... we order vintage moderns.  :icon_biggrin:

That's nice. Just curious, did it come from Warmoth with the decals affixed?

That'll do.  :icon_thumright:  I'm pumped to see how this strat comes out. That body looked pretty sweet.

Fear not with the next build.  I can't forsee them selling you a left-hand oriented side adjust for a right-handed body.  There'd be no way to adjust it without removal.  Check with them though.  I'm 10 for 10 with wrong answers lately.

Nice neck by the way.  On the reverse headstocks, the Warmoth logo (or any logo) just doesn't look right.

The Warmoth page on side-adjust mechanism says "Unfortunately Gotoh does not offer these mechanisms left handed. Lefty Warmoth "Pro" necks only offer heal adjustments on straight necks, and peg-head adjustments on angled necks." So right hand or reverse orientation, you'll have the side adjust, and lefty neck they'll omit it.

I put the decals on.

It would be nice if they could do it before they put on the clearcoat.  but its all good.

Lisencing restrictions prohibit such.

Even on Warmoth headstocks?

I remember reading that years ago before the online catalog.  Something about they can apply a logo you send them before the clearcoat, but it cannot be a Fender logo, or in the Fender location.
