New neck arrived! Roasted maple/Rosewood fretboard tiltback

Just arrived today. It feels so good and smells like cookies  :turtle:

Its going to be mounted on my 1980 strat alder body with new ssh pickups.  :headbanging:

Nice! Roasted Maple has become one of my favorite neck woods.

I always get the "cookie" thing, too. Used to have a roommate who made Maple cookies from time to time. Unusually expensive to make, as cookies go, but they were quite a treat.

My future neck with maple will all be roasted maple. The feels is just superb. The cookie aroma is a bonus
