So, having completed my first build, here's the start of my second.  Quilt maple over swamp ash body, copperhead finish.  Neck is quartersawn bubinga with ebony fretboard.  Both from the showcase.  I still feel really guilty about buying a second one.  It will take me a long time to accumulate the pieces/parts.

I like your style, sir! :icon_thumright: One down and on to the next!

Wish I had the guts to do the same. :binkybaby:

Thank you, Glimmer.  When GAS overcomes common sense. Problem is the Honda needs new tires.   I have no idea how to break this to my wife as yet.

The first build was an exercise in modern bass building.  I love the tone, but it is modern.  This one I want to target a more 70's classic tone, but using the tools of modern age.  Audere noise cancellation system I think.  Haven't decided on pickups, front runners are Nordstrand NJ4, Seymour Duncan Antiquity II, and Lindy Fralin standard wind.
