New CTV Build - Trolling For Ideas

Well, here we go again. 

Below is the body from the Showcase Showdown.  The back will be finished in Alpine White, while the top will be Clear Gloss.  I'm sourcing a 1 piece PF VM neck in either Warhead, Snakehead, or possibly a Guitar Mill Wolf Axe neck. 

While I decide on that, I need ot start thinking about things like hardware finishes on things like the TOM, Knobs, Switch Tip, Tuners, Straplocks, etc.  I'm may go with black dome knobs to play off of the binding, but what about the TOM?  Could I go Chrome/Nickel here?  Black?  How would white pickups look here?  I may also decide to direct mount the humbucker for a cleaner look, so I'd have to fill in the tab routs with a dowel and some epoxy I imagine.  Still undecided.

So many options.  Any suggestions before I embark on another MS Paint tirade?

Personally I think all black hardware could set it off very nice nicely.  But chrome and black would work. Or gold and black.

Or black nickel, could look really good.

If you're really feeling frisky, suppose you powder-coated the TOM and knobs and tuner-machine buttons in white to match the back of the guitar?  Just a quick thought.  May be totally dumb, but that's how my brain works sometimes.

I appreciate the (great) ideas - the powder coated bits sound like something of interest, but I scrubbed this mission.  Just sprung for a build-to-order body.

This build is back on track.

It seems like there could be a lot of latitude regarding HW color combos.  My main concern is having too many black bits on the guitar.  Still working on some mockups.

Mary Kaye white the top, Vintage white on the back, match the headstock and load it up with black hardware.
Thats what I would do..

Mary Kay does sound cool, but I'd rock that with a stronger grained wood.

Here's a few crude little mock-ups.

I think I'm going for a frosted out look with white uncovered pickups.  Only decision I'm weighing now is direct mounting the HB or going with a taller ring to hide the sides a bit - and if I do, deciding which color ring to use.
