Hi there,

I would like to order a custom guitar from warmoth
but im not sure if there's something missing in my list
(if you have some commentary about some improvement that I could make on my guitar it will be wellcome)

I was thinking about
for the body

-lefty tele deluxe
-mahogany
-no laminated top
-foream and tummy cut
-countourned heel
-trans red for the paint
-H-X-H
-top routed
-im not sure about the bridge yet, if you have some suggestion (I want a hardtail)

for the neck

-lefty warmoth -warmoth pro construction (will it fit??)
-59 roundback
-all clear satin
-maple neck with matching fingerboard
-fret size: .096"x.047" (6105)  (standard nickel)
-radius (11")
-drilled for schaller tuner
-precut and installed nut (graphtec graphite)

thanks a lot
GRIPPLI

p.s Sorry for my bad english

Color of hardware - gold, black, or chrome
Pick up choice
and knob configuration - stk or custom
pickguard color and material

I'd go black on all these items, imo

your english is near flawless, btw :icon_thumright:

welcome :hello2:

Warmoth can't do a lefty Warmoth Pro neck yet... I know: ....

Sounds very good!
If you don't want the hardtail from Warmoth site, there is the Gotoh, good enough and 'cheap'...

I think the can do anything they offer in lefty ,nonsense :icon_scratch: double check

I'm pretty sure I've seen lefty pro necks on the showcase

Unfortunately Gotoh does not offer these mechanisms left handed. Lefty Warmoth "Pro" necks only offer heal adjustments on straight necks, and peg-head adjustments on angled necks.

The line begin with the unfortunately in bolt, second paragraph...

EDIT: Well, they do it, but not side adjuste... I misinterpreted it, as would not be lefty Pro... so, compound radious is in as the other features, but bottom adjustment in straight headstock and top adjustment in angled

You can indeed get left handed Pro necks. It's just that the gotoh side adjuster isn't on it.

Welome grippli, good to meet another lefty. :headbang:

I noticed you were thinking about a tele DELUXE body, so just a couple of points you might want to consider...The deluxe is probably the least versatile version of the tele body if you want to depart from the original fender model. Warmoth don't offer much in the way of bridge choices for it so you would be mainly restricted to strat hardtails. Also the deluxe has a strat neck pocket as opposed to a squarer tele style neck pocket offered on the others.
The tele CUSTOM body gives you a few more options with the bridge arrangement. In effect you could have a custom routed H x H and be able to use a Gotoh humbucker tele bridge if you wanted. You can also specify a strat neck pocket on a custom body for no extra charge (although you would not be able to return the body) if you want the strat headstock, a la "deluxe" look.

Here are a couple of my left hand teles that use the Gotoh humbucker bridge.
The ash body on the left has no contours and a square tele neck pocket.
The contoured padouk topped one has a strat neck pocket

I hope this all helps, there are so many options with Warmoth stuff it can get crazy sometimes. Enjoy your build and welcome to the madness. :occasion14:

Thanks for all your good advice foolks
i will send some pictures of  the axe when it will be shipped and mounted

for the hardware i will go for silver tuners a silver vintage strat flat mount bridge and a black pickguards.
i will put a five way switch vintage white strat knob, and two open white humbucker,

i didnt chose my bridge pickup yet but for the neck i will take a seymour duncan jazz .
I would like to have something to contrast with the warm tone of the jazz model.  :icon_scratch:

bye and rock on  :guitaristgif:

Seymour Duncan's preferred combo with the Jazz in the bridge is to have a JB in the neck position. The two pair very well together and make a balanced but versatile combo. I used them in my first warmoth and they sound great.
