Hi there

I have a few items for sale.  I will venture to get some pics up here shortly.  FYI my old log in was red king, but I can't remember my password and evidently I used an old defunct email address so I can't reset it.

Here goes:

- Unfinished (Warmoth Pro - standard thin) padouk strat neck with ebony fretboard and phenolic dots, graphite nut, compound radius, 6150 fret wire, loaded with Schaller mini locking tuners **very good to mint condition** SOLD - thank you!

- Unfinished (Warmoth Pro - standard thin) canary strat neck with kingwood fretboard and phenolic dots, graphite nut, compound radius, 6150 fret wire, loaded with Schaller mini locking tuners **very good to mint condition** SOLD - thank you!

- Unfinished (Vintage Modern - Clapton profile) birdseye maple strat neck with pau ferro fretboard and phenolic dots, corian nut, compound radius, 6105 fret wire, ** has 1/8" dowel repair to front of headstock for drill through when installing tuners (I am confident that this can be better matched to be made virtually invisible with a proper birdseye plug)  This neck feels amazing with the Clapton profile - $155

- Finished strat body (back routed)- 2 humbucker, hardtail, 3 piece flamed Black Korina - has been finished in tobacco burst (poly) by Dave Mansel who does the finishing for McNaught Guitars.  One small finish blem that can be repaired with super glue near the neck cavity (area actually covered by the over hang of the fretboard) The finish alone cost me over $300 in addition to the cost of the body - SOLD!

- Finished strat body (front routed)- S-S-H, 6 hole tremolo, 3 piece swamp ash - has been finished in a really cool rustic looking shellac / black dye finish (very smooth and you can feel the grain of the wood through the finish) Can easily be refinished as the shellac will sand down very easily - $150

- 2 Tortoise shell strat S-S-S pickguards - one has 3 control holes, one has 2 - $15 Each

- 1 Hipshot heavy brass hardtail strat bridge - $15

- Also selling the pickups in the Swamp Ash strat - Dimarzio Area '61, '58, '58 - All 3 for $120 + shipping.

I'm looking to sell because I want to build a couple of Tele's and I tend to play my Les Paul most of the time now.  I may be interested in trades for cool Tele parts.
You pay the shipping and 4% paypal fee on top of the prices listed (unless you want to do Paypal gift, then no 4% fee).

Feel free to ask questions and I hope to get pics up shortly.

Thanks!

Subject to seeing some scans, I would like the Clapton profile neck.  Please email what you can to jamercato@gmail.com

Actually, interested in either the Maple or the Padouk necks.  Please send scans as soon as you can.

Just heading out for Canada Day with the family.  I will load up some pics later this afternoon.
thanks for your interest.

Cheers!

What is the weight on the korina strat body, and does the hipshot bridge already fit it?

Hi there.  We have a digital bathroom scale and it is too light to register a weight on the scale (just tried it).  As a comparison, it is considerably lighter than my swamp ash strat body.  Yes, the hipshot bridge does fit (it was the bridge I was using on this guitar before the re-finish.)
thanks,

R.

Weigh yourself with and without holding the body, then subtract the smaller weight from the larger.

For what it's worth, this method comes in at just under 4 lbs.

The korina body looks like a fantastic deal but I'm going to have to pass - I have the neck and the pickups sitting here, I'd just need a jack and a gibson toggle and some ferrules. But it's not a 12 string or a resonator, and I have 5 six string electrics already which I play less than my one acoustic.

Here's a picture that shows off the Flame on the Korina body a lot better
