Just ordered two custom Warmoth necks; one Tele and one Strat. :toothy10:
I've been planning to build a Tele for the past 2 years, but only recently decided I want to build another Strat as well. So I got out the ole credit card and pulled the trigger on the necks. Why didn't I order one body and one neck together? Because since the necks are the most expensive components of these paricular builds, I figured I'd get those purchases out of the way now. Gonna build the Tele first (I've never had one before). Going for an early to mid '50s appearance for that, so the neck specs probably won't seem too exciting, but the Strat neck is a little more fancy and expensive. Here are the specs:
Style: Telecaster®
Construction: Vintage/Modern Construction
Scale: 25-1/2"
Orientation: Right Handed
Neck Wood: Maple (One Piece)
Fingerboard Wood: Maple
Nut Width: 1-5/8"
Back Shape: Standard thin
Fret Size: SS6150 (Stainless)
Tuner Ream: Vintage Style (11/32")
Radius: 10-16" Compound
Fret #: 21
Mounting Holes: Standard 4 Bolt
Inlays: Black Face Dots
Side Dots: Black Side Dots
String Nut: GraphTech White TUSQ XL - Standard Nut
Style: Stratocaster®
Construction: Vintage/Modern Construction
Scale: 25-1/2"
Orientation: Right Handed
Neck Wood: Roasted Maple
Fingerboard Wood: Ebony
Nut Width: 1-5/8"
Back Shape: Standard thin
Fret Size: SS6150 (Stainless)
Tuner Ream: Sperzel (25/64")
Radius: Straight 12"
Fret #: 22
Mounting Holes: Standard 4 Bolt
Inlays: Mother Of Pearl Dots
Side Dots: White Side Dots
String Nut: GraphTech Black TUSQ XL - Standard Nut
This will be my first roasted maple neck, and my first ebony fretboard. :cool01:
