Got my new body in the mail today and im pretty impressed with Ups, 3 days from Warmouth to Queensland Australia.
Its a split Jazzmaster (as i didnt need the top routing) with a regular Jazzmaster pickguard.
Word on the street is Warmoth will be calling this the "Bass917 body mod", #officiallie.

That looks awesome! I'm also from Queensland (About 20km south of the Brisbane CBD). We must be operating on the same wave-length, because my first Warmoth build came in a few days ago and I have a Shell Pink body with a Pearloid pickguard as well...

What pickup is that?

Hey Axkoa! I saw your post just then and was going to reply that there must be something in the water here (im a stones throw away at northern Gold Coast). Very cool hybrid and that neck though, i was toying with a reverse tele neck on a strat body before i landed on this.
The pickup is a Bare Knuckle Warpig (custom bobbins and poles) that i ordered through Boutique Sounds in Victoria (cheaper than bare Knuckles website too).

I'll have to keep that in mind then, about Boutique Sounds. Was thinking about Bareknuckles for my next build.

And the neck that came a while back, its a CBS strat neck with ss frets in birdseye maple.

I don't want to have to be the bearer of bad news . . . but you accidentally build that guitar backwards.  :p

Excellent! It takes that long to get to New York's Hudson Valley.

I was wondering why it looked backwards, makes sense now!
:laughing11: :laughing3: :laughing7:

Looks good! Nice choices. Looking forward to seeing completed photos.

That guitar is most appropriately oriented. Your light switches work the other way from ours and your toilets swirl opposite, too. :laughing11:

Cool idea about using the the Split Jazzmaster body route  I had wondered if it would be possible to do that with a regular jazzmaster pickguard.

Only problem is that the pickup wire passes through the body and not a rout so pickguard doesnt just flip over like on a regular Jazzmaster or strat but not an issue for me.

That thing is awesome! What's the pickup? Almost looks like a Super Distortion
Its  a Bare Knuckle Warpig, you can have custom colours and poles if ordered through their website.
